How We Got Here
The Problem We Saw
Henrik spent eight years working for banks in Sydney and Melbourne. Great job. Good salary. But something bothered him—the disconnect between what clients actually needed and what they were sold.
People would come in wanting help with a mortgage decision or wondering if they could afford to change careers. Instead of guidance, they'd walk out with investment portfolios they didn't understand and insurance products loaded with commissions.
Starting Small
In 2017, Henrik moved back to Coffs Harbour and started running free financial workshops at the local library. Just practical stuff—how to build a basic budget, understanding superannuation, comparing home loan options.
The response was unexpected. People kept showing up. Not because they wanted to get rich or optimize returns, but because they finally had someone explaining money decisions in normal language.
Building tavirexola
By 2019, those library sessions turned into something bigger. We launched tavirexola with a simple idea: financial education and advice should be accessible, honest, and focused on helping people make informed decisions rather than pushing products.
We're not here to promise life-changing returns or revolutionary strategies. Money management is usually pretty straightforward once you cut through the noise. Our job is cutting through that noise.
